2023 Scientific Conference

Dear Colleagues,

We have the pleasure to inform you that on November 3rd–4th, 2023, the Romanian Association of Slavic Studies and the Department of Russian and Slavic Philology will organize the already traditional international symposium 

Romanian Slavic Studies and the Dialogue of Cultures – 2023

There are two main sections, with onsite and online presence.

Suggested topics of debate: the study of Slavic languages and cultures in Europe and around the world; perspectives and challenges in linguistics; new methods and approaches to literary phenomena; mentalities; imagologic structures; translations and inter-cultural communication; foreign language teaching in the digital era.

We kindly invite you to participate in the presentations and discussions within this scientific and cultural event of our community. The fee is € 15 (or 75 RON) which partly covers the costs of organizing the conference, including publication in Romanoslavica, our peer-reviewed scientific journal. The participants in Bucharest are offered as far as possible free accommodation in the Gaudeamus guest house of the University of Bucharest.

The languages of the conference are: Romanian, all Slavic languages and English.
